response to this, we have developed a new exciting historical
tour of the suburbs of Pittsford & East Rochester. Pittsford
is the earliest settlement in Monroe County and began before Rochester.
East Rochester, on the other hand, developed long after Rochester as a
planned community, due to the major expansion of a particular industry
in America.
Learn the early
history of these villages / towns and be
entertained with many stories of interesting people who
settled there. Hear the stories of the very wealthy who lived there
in the early days. Our journey into the past will point out
beautiful architecture and historical landmarks, some hidden right
before our eyes. Even if you live or have spent much time in these
beautiful suburbs, you will be amazed at all the new information
you will have to share with your family and friends.
